Bondi Beach, and Australian icon and a must see when you come to Sydney! The famous beach is known all around the world, and you can see all walks of life at any time of the year frequent these shores for some fun in the sun. The golden sands of Bondi Beach play host to a number of events as well throughout the year, from surfing carnival, ironman events and festivals.

The cliff walk from Bondi to Tamarama Beach is a great walk but allow a couple of hours to get there and back in time for lunch. Bondi Beach itself is 11km in length so there is always plenty of room for you to find a spot for the day on the sand.

The main strip of Bondi Beach is lined with an array of shops, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, bars and nightspots that are a great place to eat and be entertained. Sit and enjoy a great breakfast before hitting the surf and then maybe hook up with some friends at one of the clubs for a couple of drinks and a night of dancing. Sit in one of the many restaurants and enjoy the view as you dine on sumptuous delights and look out over the fringing ocean waters. All year round you can look forward to some great activities and entertainment at Bondi Beach, with many of the being based around the Pavilion, with things such as surfing competitions, kite flying to festivals, weekend markets and galleries to see. There are some great picnic grounds where you can bring the kids for a BBQ in the park or even plan to venture on down to the Bondi Weekend Markets that are held every Sunday, where you can find a variety of interesting things to buy. You may even like to go jet skiing or diving around the rocks where many different marine species can be spotted! There are many scenic cliff walks to embark upon or perhaps you are interested in taking a dip in the Bondi Icebergs Surf Pool for a refreshing swim or even visit the Marine Discovery Centre at the Bondi Pavilion.
